(VOVworld) - The 10th ASEAN Skills Competition will take place in Hanoi in October, featuring 23 occupational skills.

The event aims to realize Vietnam’s integration policy, enhance solidarity, cooperation, and friendship among ASEAN countries. It will also boost vocational training and young people’s professional skills.

The Steering Committee and Organising Board for the Competition convened its first meeting in Hanoi on Friday to discuss related issues and organisational procedures. Hosting the competition will help to promote Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements, peace, stability and cultural and tourist attractions to international friends.
