Vietnam to host IPU Forum of Young Parliamentarians in September
(VOVWORLD) -The ninth Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Forum of Young Parliamentarians which Vietnam will host in Hanoi this September will be a focal event of multilateral diplomacy of the Vietnamese National Assembly this year.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue made the statement while presiding over a working session to prepare for the forum.
Following the organisation of the 132nd IPU Assembly and the 41st General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), the coming forum will be a chance for Vietnam to promote its image to international friends, Mr. Hue said, asking the NA Committee for External Relations to make the best preparations for the three-day meeting.
Founded in 2013 within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Forum of Young Parliamentarians has been held annually since 2014. It is an important foundation for empowering young leaders.
