(VOVworld) – Activities will mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities which falls on December 3, announced a press conference on Tuesday in Hanoi.

Scheduled events will include the finals of the first national singing contest for the disabled themed “Hearts of aspiration” and a charity walk to encourage joint efforts to support disabled people. The organizers will continue to solicit donations to a special Fund for the Disabled in Vietnam.

All events are being co-organized by the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans, the Vietnam Federation of Disability, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
