The event, held early this week as part of the National Tourism Program 2017, introduced the people and landscapes of Vietnam as well as ties between Vietnam and Italy. It also enabled businesses of both sides to meet and seek partnerships.

Within the framework of the event, VNAT’s Deputy Director General Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong worked with Italian Deputy Minister of Heritage, Culture and Tourism Dorina Dianchi to seek ways to boost bilateral tourism cooperation. The Italian side pledged to help Vietnam train museum staff, while sharing experience in tourism management and operations.

On Thursday the VNAT delegation will visit Spain to introduce Vietnam tourism in Valencia.
