At a reception for visiting Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Trong congratulated the Cambodians for their achievements recorded under the judicious reign of the King and the government. He invited the Cambodian King and Queen Mother to pay a State visit or a vacation visit to Vietnam at a convenient time.

The King said during this second vacation trip to Vietnam, he is pleased with the constant development of the Vietnam-Cambodia ties since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1967. He said Cambodians never forget the valuable assistance the Vietnamese Party, State, and people have provided to them in all circumstances and vowed to continue nurturing the lasting friendship and good cooperation between the two nations.
