(VOVworld) – A Vietnam-UK education cooperation forum was held in London on Friday. Participants included the two countries’ government officials and representatives of 100 leading Vietnamese and British universities and education organizations.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said education is one of Vietnam’s top policy and training highly qualified human resources is one of the breakthroughs in Vietnam’s sustainable development and international integration. He said he believed the forum will contribute to fostering Vietnam-UK education cooperation amid celebrations of 5 years of their strategic partnership. Director of British Council Vietnam Cherry Gough said she hoped the forum will open up new opportunities for education cooperation between the two countries.
