In a recent interview on Vietnamese media, she said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh made quite ambitious statements at COP26 about the goal of net zero emissions by 2050, which is a strong commitment to solve a global issue and also the right direction for Vietnam.
Vietnam can set standards for its brands so that Vietnam will be considered a place with a stable political background, a good environment for trading and production, and advanced, environmentally friendly technology with green manufacturing and service industries, she added.
According to Carolyn Turk, the Vietnamese government can establish a complete legal framework and a favorable environment for renewable energy companies to operate.
