He praised Vietnam's strong development, and said he believes the bilateral cooperation in agriculture will grow because it’s based on a shared vision of global food security and climate change. The US is ready to share its lessons with Vietnam, and find sustainable ways to increase production efficiency through innovation, he said.
Secretary Vilsack said he has worked with relevant agencies to exchange new types of goods between the US and Vietnam.
He said the US will continue to work with Vietnam to achieve the net zero emissions target set by both countries by sharing initiatives and experience in sustainable, zero-emission agricultural practices.
