(VOVworld)- On Tuesday, the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee and relevant agencies of the Pacific Partnership program 2016 (PP16) conducted a drill to improve natural disaster response capacity and rescue skills.

Vietnam, US conduct large-scale disaster relief drill

Approximately 150 people and dozens of rescue vehicles from Vietnamese and US forces participated in the drill. The drill aims to increase the leadership and command capacity of local authorities, the Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control, and Search and Rescue at all levels.
