Vietnam, US enhance cooperation in science, technology
(VOVWORLD) - The 10th Vietnam-US Joint Committee Meeting on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (JCM10) took place in Washington DC from Monday to Wednesday.

The event discussed new initiatives to develop an innovation and startup eco-system and the establishment of a new working group on innovation and entrepreneurship. The biennial meeting is organized as part of science and technology cooperation between Vietnam and the US. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy said: “Vietnamese and US scientists have cooperated in science, technology, and innovation through joint research. Through this meeting, we want to raise this cooperation to a new height, support startup businesses, attract US investors, and cooperate with US experts to create more innovative businesses in Vietnam”.
Vietnam and the US vowed to support and promote scientific and technological activities and agreed to build an Action Plan for the 2019-2020 term.
