(VOVworld) - Vice President of the Vietnam-USA Society Bui The Giang received a delegation of the American-based organization PeaceTrees Vietnam led by advisor Robert Stokes in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Mr. Giang praised the organization’s efforts to heal the war’s wounds and deepen friendly and cooperative ties between Vietnam and the US.

Mr. Stokes, who has served as PeaceTrees Vietnam Executive Director, said the purpose of the visit is to review and promote the projects PeaceTrees is carrying out in Vietnam.
