Vietnam, US see remarkable progress in economics, trade over 25 years
(VOVWORLD) - Economics and trade ties between Vietnam and the US have grown significantly, said Minister Counselor and Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in the US Bui Huy Son on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties on July 12.

Two-way trade increased from 230 million USD in 1994 to 77 billion USD last year, he said. Vietnam’s exports to the US include agricultural products, garments, textiles, footwear, electronics, rubber, and furniture. Vietnam imports US machinery, fuels, fruits and high-tech equipment.
