Vietnam values its strategic partnership with UK
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam values and wishes to deepen the strategic partnership with the UK, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son said on Tuesday in Hanoi.

Meeting Amanda Milling, Minister of State for Asia and the Middle East at the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in Hanoi on Tuesday, Minister Son suggested that the two sides continue to promote the exchange of high-level delegations, enhance the effectiveness of key cooperation mechanisms, promote trade and investment, and expand cooperation in education-training, science-technology, and health care.
Amanda Milling told Minister Son that her nation regards Vietnam as an important partner in the region as it is looking to augment cooperation with the Indo-Pacific.
She also hailed Vietnam’s strong commitment at COP26 to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, while stating the UK’s readiness to help Vietnam realize the commitments on emissions, climate change response, and sustainable energy transition.
