Vietnam values relations with Japan
(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang received the Special Advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group Tsutomo Takebe on Thursday.
He said Vietnam values its relations with Japan and praised an initiative to establish the Vietnam-Japan University in Vietnam. President Quang pledged favorable conditions for the university to become operational by this September and called for continued Japanese support for Vietnam in infrastructure development, agricultural production, and climate change response. He also said more cultural exchanges should be conducted to increase mutual understanding.
