Vietnam values relations with Palestine
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said Vietnam values its relations with Palestine when he received Palestinian Minister of Interior Ziad Hab Al-Reeh in Hanoi on Monday.

The Prime Minister reiterated Vietnam's consistent stance of supporting justice, dialogue, and peaceful resolution of conflicts. He expressed his hope that Vietnam and Palestine will continue to support each other in cooperation frameworks on both bilateral and multilateral levels.
PM Chinh suggested that the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security strengthen cooperation, exchange of information, and professional coordination; work together to handle transnational crimes; ensure security and safety for the headquarters of the representative missions and citizens of one country working in, studying in, or visiting the territory of the other country; support training, capacity building of law enforcement; and contribute to deepening bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Palestine.
The Palestinian Interior Minister expressed his wish to promote the two countries' relations and economic and security cooperation. He called on the international community, including Vietnam, to support Palestine to settle disputes and disagreements by peaceful means.
The two sides agreed to support each other in international forums to which the two countries are members; support the stance of ASEAN and Vietnam on the East Sea issue, including ensuring safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the region and resolving disputes peacefully in accordance with international law.
