Vietnam wants to develop multi-faceted relations with Hungary
(VOVWORLD) - Nguyen Van Binh, head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, held talks with leaders and representatives of Hungary’s Government, Parliament, and some ministries during his working visit which concluded on Tuesday.

At the meetings, both sides agreed that economic and financial cooperation remains a priority. Hungary hopes to expand direct investment, joint ventures, and technology transfers to Vietnam in areas of Hungary’s strength, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, information technology, cyber security, water resource management, and agriculture.
The leaders said Hungary is committed to backing Vietnam-EU relations, including the implementation of a free trade agreement. The Vietnamese side expressed readiness to help Hungary strengthen its cooperation with ASEAN.
