Vietnam welcomes 5.5 million foreign visitors in 4 months
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has received more than 5.54 million foreign visitors in the past four months, an increase of 29.5% from the same period last year, according to data released on Sunday by the General Statistics Office.
Asian visitors’ arrivals increased 36% from the same period last year, and most of them are from China, South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia. Vietnam also saw a rise of tourists from Europe, America, and Africa, thanks to global promotion and advertising programs carried out by the Vietnam Administration of Tourism.
