Vietnam welcomes EU’s pledge of 10 billion euros for ASEAN projects
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam welcomes the European Union (EU)’s commitment to mobilize 10 billion EUR by 2027 for the Global Gateway strategy through cooperation projects in ASEAN, Foreign Ministry deputy spokeswoman Pham Thu Hang said at a regular press conference on Thursday.

Hang also said that Vietnam always creates conditions for lawful, safe and orderly migration and resolutely fights against illegal migration and human trafficking.
She said that Vietnam’s consistent policy is to respect, protect, and promote human rights in which the fight against human trafficking is identified as a regular and long-term political task.
Over the years, Vietnam has drastically implemented the prevention of human trafficking and anti human trafficking program until 2025 and orientation to 2030 with new solutions and tasks to prevent human trafficking in all fields.
Vietnam is making efforts to deploy the goals of the Global Agreement on Legal, Safe and Orderly Migration promulgated by the Prime Minister in 2020 to create a transparent migration environment, protect the legitimate rights and interests of migrants, and prevent the risk of human trafficking in international migration activities.
