(VOVWORLD) - Swimmer Le Tien Dat gave Vietnam its first gold medal in the men's 100-meter breaststroke event on Friday at the ongoing Asian Para Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.

As of Friday morning, Vietnamese athletes had one gold, seven silver, and six bronze medals, to rank 20th overall.
Vietnam's delegation to the 2023 Asian Para Games is competing in track and field, swimming, weightlifting, chess, table tennis, badminton, and taekwondo.
