(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang will visit Cuba at the invitation of Cuban President Raul Castro.

In an interview with a Vietnam News Agency reporter, Vietnamese ambassador to Cuba Duong Minh said  the visit aims to deepen the special friendship between the two countries, confirm Vietnam’s support for Cuba’s just struggles and its national construction and defense, and enhance bilateral economic and trade ties. Minh said that the visit will lay a firm foundation for the two countries to foster the friendship and cooperation that has been built over the past 55 years.
