Vietnamese advised to avoid travel to coronavirus-hit areas in RoK
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese citizens are advised to avoid travel to areas that are affected by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) or vulnerable to the virus in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The travel warning was made the Consular Department under the Foreign Ministry and the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK on Friday. Vietnamese citizens are also advised to keep a close watch and follow instructions of local agencies. According to the embassy, as of Friday, no Vietnamese citizens in the RoK had been infected with Covid-19.
The RoK saw another spike in infections with 142 confirmed cases on Friday, taking its tally to 346, about half related to people who attended a church service.
