(VOVworld) Four Vietnamese students won a gold, two silver and one bronze medal at the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad in Washington, DC, this week. Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Cuong met the students yesterday to congratulate them on their achievements and wish them further success. Head of the Vietnamese delegation, Doctor of Chemistry Do Quy Son, comments: "This is an encouraging result which proves Vietnamese students are intellectually on par with their peers worldwide."Next year’s International Chemistry Olympiad will take place in Russia. Vietnam will host the event in 2014.
