The patrol targeted 13 points spanning 255.5 nautical miles.

The forces conducted telephone exchange, practiced joint search and rescue efforts, supervised fishing vessels operating in the area, and informed fishermen at sea about fishing regulations, COVID-19 safety measures, and code of conduct.

The 3-day joint patrol will create a momentum for closer ties between the Party, State and people of Vietnam and China in general, and between the two Coast Guard forces in particular.
