(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese community in Australia has donated 18,000 USD to a fund to support poor students, who are children of fishermen and soldiers defending Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty. Fund-raising activities were held in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane. Many Vietnamese Australians have proposed diversifying fund-raising activities through exchanges and art performances to encourage more people to donate to the fund.
