Vietnamese blue beret doctors help South Sudanese people in rainy season
(VOVWORLD) -The medical staff of Vietnam's Level 2 Field Hospital Number 4 conducted a medical examination for people at Bentiu General Hospital, South Sudan as part of the efforts to overcome flood consequences, according to the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations.
The volunteer group led by Major Le Viet Anh presented Bentiu General Hospital with many essential medicines, disinfectants and basic epidemic prevention equipment.
Recently, the hospital has successfully treated a Mongolian patient with acute pancreatitis. Previously, the patient was treated at the level 1 hospital of the Mongolian infantry battalion. After more than a week of treatment, the patient was discharged from the hospital.
