(VOV) – Final work is underway on the construction of the Cambodian International Five Star Fertilizer Factory, one of Vietnam’s biggest investment projects in Cambodia with a total capital of 65 million USD. During a visit to the factory site, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam On, said the factory with its annual capacity of 350,000 tons proves the effectiveness of Vietnamese businesses investing in Cambodia. Men believes the company will be a significant lever in strengthening agricultural cooperation between the two countries. By the end of 2011, Vietnam had invested in 98 projects in Cambodia with a total capital of 2.4 billion USD. Vietnam now ranks 4th among foreign investors in Cambodia after China, Australia, and the Republic of Korea.
