Vietnamese community in Cambodia pays tribute to war martyrs
(VOVworld) - Representatives of the Vietnamese embassy, relevant agencies, and the Vietnamese community in Cambodia burned incense and laid wreaths on Monday at the Monument commemorating Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The delegation observed a minute of silence to express gratitude to war heroes, martyrs, and volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Cambodia during the war. Thousands of Vietnamese soldiers and experts sacrificed their lives while conducting missions in Cambodia. The remains of more than 4,500 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers still lie in Cambodian soil and the two governments have cooperated closely in the search for the remains of war martyrs.
