(VOVworld) – The Consulate General of Vietnam in Perth, Australia, organized a ceremony on Saturday to honor the role of Vietnamese women role and popularize Vietnamese cuisine.

This was one of various activities marking International Women’s Day. Consul General Le Viet Duyen expressed his hope that participants will work together to further develop the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Australia.

At the ceremony, the participants sampled some traditional Vietnamese dishes. They also enjoyed songs in praise of Vietnam.
