Vietnamese Dong Xuan Centre in Berlin resumes operation after warehouse fire
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese Dong Xuan Centre in eastern Berlin resumed its operation on Friday after a fire that broke out from a warehouse on Thursday (local time).

After 5 hours the blaze was extinguished and no casualties were reported. On Friday, a working team of the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin led by counselor Dang Chung Thuy went to the scene, worked with market’s board of directors, and visited people affected by the incident. The Dong Xuan Center is working with authorities to find out how the fire started and count the damages.
Established in 2003, the 18ha Dong Xuan Centre is the biggest Vietnamese trading hub in Germany, gathering thousands of businessmen including Vietnamese, Pakistani and Chinese expatriates.
