(VOVWORLD) -Van Xuan Phat Import-Export Co. Ltd. based in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday said that the company would export 1,000 tons of durians a month to its partners in China.

Since last September, 100 tons of Vietnamese durian have officially been exported to the Chinese market.
Dang Phuc Nguyen, General Secretary of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, said that the value of Vietnamese durian exports to China in 2022 reached about 350 million USD.
Vietnam expects to ship 90,000 tons, or 4,500 containers of fresh durians abroad this year, export value will exceed 1 billion USD.
