(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese embassy in Cambodia held a new year meeting with representatives of the overseas Vietnamese community on Friday.

Ambassador Ngo Anh Dung expressed his hope that overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia will continue to unite and enhance the national identity while contributing to the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.

He asked them to care more about the young generation and their integration into the social life in Cambodia. Ambassador Dung said: “We should think of ways to do long-term business here. What you do for Vietnam also contributes to Cambodia’s development. I call on everyone to care more about our children’s education.”
