The 2-day event welcomed over 300 Vietnamese entrepreneurs from around the world, including about 200 businesspersons from Vietnam.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son addressed the opening ceremony that “what we discuss at this event illustrates the determination to unite with Russian businesses. I hope that through this conference, enterprises at home and abroad can connect with more of Russia’s leading companies.”

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai underscored the opportunities and challenges offered by trade agreements that Vietnam has signed or will sign.

Hai noted that “Vietnamese enterprises should study carefully the content and technical terms of trade deals we have signed or will sign to make full use of their advantages to boost exports and the sale of made-in-Vietnam goods via the wholesale and retail systems in the host countries.”

Ambassador Son said the embassy will do everything to connect Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world and promote Vietnamese brand names in Russia and other countries.
