Vietnamese, Lao PMs hold talks in Phnom Penh
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Lao Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh in Phnom Penh on Thursday.

During the talks, held on the sidelines of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related meetings in Cambodia, the two Prime Ministers affirmed their respect and priority for maintaining, fostering, and enhancing their friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation in an effective manner to bring benefits to both people.

The two government leaders agreed to work closely to implement signed agreements and those made at the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee and cooperative programs between Ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries.
They agreed to continue to realize high-level agreements of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee as well as cooperation programs between ministries, sectors and localities in Vietnam and Laos, while working together to implement delegation exchanges and the 45th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee and the closing of the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022.
They will enhance mutual support for the two countries’ efforts to build an independent, self-reliant economy in association with extensive, practical and effective international integration.
