(VOVworld)- National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung’s attendance at the recent 130^th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Switzerland reflected Vietnam’s active contributions to the Union. Head of the External Relations Commission of the National Assembly Tran Van Hang made the statement in an interview with VOV: “This is also important preparation for Vietnam’s hosting of the 132^nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in March 2015. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung made an important speech at the event which delivered the message that Vietnam wishes to cooperate with other countries in building a peaceful and democratic world”.

The IPU praised Vietnam’s active and early preparations for hosting the 132^nd IPU Assembly in Hanoi. President of the Union Abdelwahad Radi expressed his belief that the 132^nd IPU Assembly would be a success and Hanoi could be an impressive milestone in the IPU’s history.
