The warship’s participation reflects the Vietnamese State and Party’s policy of proactive international integration, implements agreements signed by ADMM defence leaders, and affirms the Vietnam People’s Navy’s responsibility as a member of the ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting.
It also illustrates the Vietnamese Defence Ministry and People’s Navy’s support for Singapore in organizing international events to consolidate friendship and cooperation among regional naval forces.
