(VOV) - The Vietnamese Association of Medicine and Pharmacy in Russia on Wednesday celebrated Vietnamese Physicians’ Day in Moscow.

Nguyen Chi Tam, Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy, spoke highly of the Association’s work which serves the Vietnamese community in Russia. Phan Tuyet Hang, Vice Chairwoman of the Association, said: "This year, all the members of the Association will be more united to do better job of community healthcare. We’ll also cooperate with the Association of Science and Technology to hold seminars on diseases and healthcare and provide more free medical check-ups. Advanced medical achievements and traditional medicine will be applied to make treatment more effective".

Participants agreed that the Association should expand community health consultations, and measures to promote fitness in Russia’s extreme weather conditions.
