(VOVworld) – Vietnam-Australia comprehensive partnership in all fields including science and technology has strongly developed. At a meeting with Vietnamese scientists who are living and working in Australia on Saturday in Canberra, Australia, Vietnamese ambassador to Australia Luong Thanh Nghi said Vietnam and Australia are implementing the cooperative agreement on science and technology signed in 2013, focusing on information sharing, technology transfer and training. The ambassador also spoke highly of practical contribution made by Vietnamese scientists to national socio-economic development.

At the meeting, scientists discussed scientific and technological activities in Vietnam, cooperation in scientific research and creating a link of collaborators of this field in Australia.
