(VOVworld) - All four Vietnamese students won prizes at the 47th International Biology Olympiad which was held in Azerbaijan from July 20-29.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, Dinh Tuan Hoang from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School earned the gold medal. Two silver medals were carried off by winners Pham Thai Ha, also from from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School, and Tran Dinh Hieu from Bac Ninh High School for gifted students. The bronze medal was awarded to Nguyen Thuy Hang from Hung Vuong High School in Phu Tho province. The Vietnamese delegation stood in 8th place at the event that drew 294 students from 79 countries and territories.
