Vietnamese Tet celebrated in various countries
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Ottawa organized a Tet celebration on Saturday drawing a large number of participants including Vietnamese students and young Vietnamese people born and grown up in Canada.

In Algeria, hundreds of overseas Vietnamese who are members of families of Vietnamese origin living for many generations in Algeria gathered at the Vietnamese Embassy in Algiers to celebrate the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year. The "Homeland Spring" program organized annually by the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria has become a bridge connecting Vietnamese families in Algeria.
On this occasion, the Embassy introduced traditional dishes and songs featuring the atmosphere of Tet as well as performances of traditional martial arts.
