(VOVworld) - Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang presented an insignia to Vietnamese-Japanese Special Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro on Monday to acknowledge his contributions to boosting Vietnam-Japan all-round cooperation and friendship in recent years.

Quang praised Ryotaro, who is also Japanese-Vietnamese Special Ambassador, for enhancing mutual understanding through cooperative programs and cultural exchanges especially Japan’ assistance to Vietnamese police in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue operation. The minister expressed his hope that Ryotaro will continue his efforts to further the relations between the Public Security ministry and Japan’s relevant agencies.
