Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership develops cross the board
(VOVWORLD) - The comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India has grown strongly in all fields in recent years, Vietnam’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son said at Wednesday’s ceremony in Hanoi, marking the 76th anniversary of India’s Independence Day, August 15.

The two countries will further develop their comprehensive strategic partnership to practically benefit the two peoples and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the Asia-Pacific region and the world, said Mr. Son.
Indian Ambassador Sandeep Arya noted the year 2023 is an important milestone on his country’s path of growth, development and progress as well as in its global contributions, especially its role as the G20 President.

He said Vietnam is a special partner of India, and the solidarity, mutual trust, and cooperation between the two countries have always been reinforced.
The Ambassador expressed his belief that bilateral friendship will develop even more strongly and remain a pillar of support for each nation.

The same day, an art program spotlighting Kuchipudi – one of the 10 classical dance styles of India – took place in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak. The program was part of the ongoing Namaste Vietnam Festival held by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.
