Vietnam-Japan Digital Transformation Association inaugurated in Tokyo

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam-Japan Digital Transformation Association was inaugurated on Sunday in Tokyo, to serve as a platform to connect ICT businesses and boost cooperation and sharing of initiatives and advanced technology solutions between the two countries.

Addressing the inauguration, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu said he is glad for the continuous growth of Vietnamese IT businesses in Japan and called the new Association an important turning point.
"Relations between Vietnam and Japan have grown strongly over the past 50 years, evidenced by the growth of our information community, contributing to the two economies and to the bilateral relationship," Hieu said.
At the ceremony, 19 member companies of the Association made commitments to promote innovation, technology transfer, research, development, and application. The Association said it will strive to achieve total revenues for Vietnamese IT enterprises in Japan of 7 billion USD by 2033.
