At a meeting with South Korean ambassador to Vietnam Choi Young Sam in Hanoi on Monday, Ms. Xuan suggested the two countries strengthen political and diplomatic relations and promote the exchange of delegations at all levels.

The Vice President also expressed her hope that the two sides will strengthen security and defense cooperation in accordance with the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Ambassador Choi Young Sam emphasized that South Korea is committed to doing its best to promote the Vietnam-South Korea comprehensive strategic partnership, especially in economics, trade, and investment.

The Ambassador stressed the need to expand bilateral cooperation in technology, innovation, climate change, new energy and high-quality human resource training.
