(VOVworld) – Russia’s diplomatic activities are moving toward countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including Vietnam, where Russia’s main partnerships play a pivotal role. Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, Vnukov Konstantin Vasilievich, made the remark at a ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of Russia’s National Day, June 12, at the Russian embassy in Hanoi on Thursday.
He added Russia is ready to help Vietnam in all fields and further strengthen traditional relations and friendship between the two countries. Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh said Vietnam always treasures its traditional friendship with Russia and does its best to elevate the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership. He expressed his belief that these relations would be deepened for mutual benefit towards peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the world. 2015 marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Russia.
