(VOVworld) – A forum on Vietnamese culture and tourism potential was held by the Vietnamese embassy in Mexico on Thursday. The event was part of ASEAN Culture Week.

Participants were briefed on Vietnam’s geographical location, history, political system, and people and introduced to tourist destinations in Quang Ninh province, Hanoi, the central region, and the Mekong River Delta as well as Vietnam’s tourism development strategy in the current period.

During ASEAN Culture Week, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico participated in a national costume show, a forum on ASEAN-Mexico relations, and a photo exhibit on ASEAN countries and peoples.
