(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Friday evening reported 3,409 more cases of COVID-19, raising the total number of cases per day to 7,307, according to the Ministry of Health.
Ho Chi Minh City had the most with 4,913 cases, Hanoi had 56. During the day, 2,115 patients recovered.
As of Friday, Vietnam confirmed a total of 81,678 cases. 15,536 cases have recovered.
The tally from April 27, when the 4th wave of COVID-19 outbreak hit Vietnam, is 77,967.
