Vietnam's e-commerce aims to rank second in Southeast Asia
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam's e-commerce growth could reach 20% - 25% after the COVID-19 pandemic and earn 35 billion USD by 2025, said a trade official on Thursday.

According to Le Thi Ha of the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, last year Vietnam had 54 million e-commerce users and the figure is expected to jump to 60 million this year. The purchase value of one person is expected to reach about 250 USD this year.
Vietnam's e-commerce aims to rank second in Southeast Asia by 2025, she said, citing an assessment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade that online shopping is becoming a trend for the future as 75 out of 100 Internet users shop online, of whom 78% shop on e-commerce platforms.
