Vietnam’s economy rebounds strongly post COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences hosted a workshop in Hanoi on Monday to discuss ways to boost Vietnam's economic development post COVID-19 pandemic.

Participants emphasized that following the successful containment of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent reopening of economies worldwide, Vietnam's economy has exhibited robust recovery, guided by fresh and innovative trajectories.

The Party and State have orchestrated an array of supportive policies, culminating in the establishment of an advantageous business ecosystem conducive to sustained economic revival.

The Government has increased public investment and offered stimulus packages during the economic recovery period. Vietnam is implementing incentives to encourage enterprises to increase production, create jobs for workers, restore exports, and reduce the number of enterprise bankruptcy.
