Vietnam’s image shines at Asian Pacific Heritage Month in US
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s landscapes, traditional long dress, handicraft and fine art products, and traditional dances were showcased at the Asian Pacific Heritage Month Celebration in the US on Saturday.

The annual event which took place at Stony Brook University in New York brought together representatives from 11 Asian countries’ and individuals of the Asian national community living, studying and working in New York and other neighbouring states.
Head of Vietnam’s permanent mission to the UN, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga said this is the 9th time Vietnam has joined the festival, considering it an opportunity to introduce international friends its unique cultural features and natural heritages.
The money collected from the sale of handicraft and fine art items will be donated to help Syrian children as part of charity activities initiated by the UN.
