Vietnam’s labor market will grow
(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the General Statistics Office announced on Tuesday Vietnam’s labor market updates for the second quarter of this year.
The macro-economy is predicted to continue recovering, which will give a push to the labor market. Up to 600,000 new jobs are expected to be generated in industrial parks and processing zones. Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep said: “The number of employed people in the first quarter increased 1.2% while the labor forced increased just 1.1% from last year. We hope that the unemployment rate will fall in the coming months.”
